ADDIS ABABA – Ambassodor Taye Atske Selassie disclosed that he briefed religious eminences around the world on the atrocities perpetrated by the terrorist TPLF group against civilians in Amhara and Afar states.
In his twitter message, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Ethiopia to the United Nations, Amb. Taye stated that he is honored to talk to religious eminences.
As to him, following the federal government’s declaration of unilateral cease-fire in Tigray and the withdrawal of the Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF) from the state, various atrocities committed by the terrorist TPLF group in Amhara and Afar states.
On the occasion, he also renewed Ethiopian government’s commitment to defining Ethiopia’s destiny despite enormous pressure of big power politics.
“I also briefed them on the wisdom and foresights to build our future and protect the survival and continuity of Ethiopia,” he indicated.
By rejecting the federal government’s unilateral cease-fire in Tigray, the terrorist TPLF group perpetrated several heinous atrocities against civilians in Amhara and Afar states, it was learnt.
There have also been several reports of mass killings, gang rapes, as well as destruction of churches, mosques, private businesses, and public institutions, among others in the two aforesaid states perpetrated by the terrorist TPLF group.
