ADDIS ABABA—Ethiopian Airlines has resumed its daily flight services to Dessie and Kombolcha as of today. The fight services were interrupted for months following terrorist TPLF invasion of the towns.
Ethiopia Airlines was stopped its flight to Dessie and Kombolcha after the TPLF terrorist group had invaded some parts of Amhara and Afar states.
Dessie and Kombolcha towns, which were under the TPLF control for a few days, were also liberated by Ethiopian United Forces about a month ago. It was learnt that the Ethiopian Airlines has resumed flight services to Lalibela recently.
The conflict in north Ethiopia was sparked when the terrorist TPLF attacked the northern command base camped in Tigray state and killed several thousands of soldiers asleep during midnight of November 3, 2020.
