Blowing Operator Mechanic

Purpose of the job

Blowing Operator Mechanic Manage the production of one machine in most cases, adjust the controls, set the temperature, adjust the mandrel with the desired mold chamber, and allow the machine to create the product to the company specifications under a specific amount of heat and pressure.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicate with the Production Shift Supervisor to coordinate production line support staff in accomplishing the lines’ objectives;
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, pressure and parameters).
• Operates blow molding machinery.
• Trims excess material from molded product.
• Regrinds excess material and unsatisfactory pieces for reuse using grinding machine.
• Count finished product or blower reading to determine accuracy of machine operation.
• Makes adjustments to machine controls to correct.
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
• Verify material usage per standards;
• Maintain work area to acceptable safety and housekeeping standards;
• Perform assigned preventative maintenance work;
• Direct participate during change over time with technic department.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and other related activities as assigned;

Education

• BSc Degree or TVET, in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing or any related field.

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years’ Work Experience in Water and Juice Beverage Manufacturing Industry / Factory is Preferable.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.
