We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both Ethiopian and European cuisines, with a passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes that reflect our diverse portfolio and satisfy the tastes of our clientele.
1. Develop and execute creative and high-quality menus featuring a fusion of Ethiopian and European dishes, tailored to the specific needs and preferences of our various ventures.
2. Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including sourcing ingredients, recipe development, and presentation, ensuring consistency and excellence across all establishments.
3. Lead and inspire a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
4. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety in accordance with industry regulations and company policies.
5. Manage food inventory, ordering, and cost control to maximize profitability while minimizing waste and ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
6. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to develop and implement innovative culinary concepts and offerings that enhance the overall customer experience.
7. Stay current with culinary trends and industry developments, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.
8. Ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations, proactively addressing any issues or challenges that may arise and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
1. Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a diverse hospitality environment, with a strong background in both Ethiopian and European cuisines.
2. Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
3. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
4. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
5. Flexibility to adapt to the unique requirements of different establishments and ventures within the company.
6. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
