SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The Intern will be responsible to complete an internship by executing tasks as assigned within a limited and agreed period of time, and with relevant skills and knowledge, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The incumbent will assist by collecting data, identifying useful information, recommending, and supporting decision-making in support of operations efficiency improvement. The role is based in Adama, Adama Industrial Park and reports to the HSEQ and process coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather relevant information and real-time data for operational efficiency improvement projects.

  • Document and evaluate current documentation of operation processes to determine opportunities for process improvements to affect Health Safety Environment Quality and operations efficiency.

  • Assist in process mapping and improvement identification. u200b

  • Collaborate with different teams within the company to increase operational efficiencies.

  • Communicate and cooperate in a way that contributes to a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • Carry out other assigned and agreed tasks and activities.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
  • Fresh Graduate

Competencies

  • Effective Communication: communicates in a clear, precise and structured way; speaks with authority and conviction; presents effectively.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to prepare and present information related to the assigned responsibilities
