Maintenance Manager

Naflet Hotel is a top notch world class hotel located in Adama. Naflet Hotel opened its door and has been serving its guests since October 2022. To attain its objective, the management of the hotel is looking for talented and passionate hotel professionals for the following vacant positions. Duties & Responsibilities;

• Plan, implement, and monitor maintenance plans for building, vehicles, generators and equipment.
• Coordinate and manage the activities of hotel engineering and maintenance functions.
• Ensure the smooth flow of the entire hotel operations relating to his/her specific area of responsibility.
• Facilitate and assist in the preparation of the goals & objectives for his department and assist other departments.
• Ensure the proper allocation and efficient utilization of resources to/within his department.
• Effectively deal with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.
• Ensure the safety and security of the hotel, its employees, and its customers.
• Periodically report the maintenance needs to the general manager.
• Maintain building, equipment, vehicle and hotel surrounding area in sound working order.

Required qualification

• Bsc in mechanical engineering or related fields.

Experience

• At least five years’ experience as maintenance manager in a four- or five-star hotel.

Human relations skill

• Good human relation skill

Language proficiency

• Good command of spoken and written English is required.
• Knowledge of additional national and international languages is desirable.

Computer skills

• Command of computer applications (Microsoft office package).

Industry knowledge

• Good hospitality industry and hotel product knowledge and skilled in electricity, plumbing, and maintaining hotel machineries and equipment.
