Position:- Marketing Research Officer
Reports to: Chief Marketing & business development officer
The Marketing Research Officer is responsible for conducting market research and providing valuable insights to support the development of marketing strategies and campaigns. They will gather data, analyze trends, and interpret findings to help the organization make informed business decisions. The Marketing Research Officer will collaborate with various internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of research reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conduct primary and secondary market research to identify consumer preferences, market trends, and competitive landscape.
2. Design and execute surveys, questionnaires, and focus groups to collect data from target audiences.
3. Analyze data using statistical techniques and qualitative methods to identify patterns, trends, and key insights.
4. Prepare comprehensive research reports, presentations, and dashboards summarizing findings and recommendations.
5. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to provide actionable insights for marketing strategies.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align research objectives with business goals.
7. Assist in the development of marketing strategies, campaigns, and product/service positioning based on research findings.
8. Support the evaluation of marketing initiatives by tracking and analyzing key performance indicators.
9. Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s products/services, target market, and industry dynamics.
10. Stay updated on the latest research methodologies, tools, and techniques to enhance research capabilities.
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Market Research, or a related field. With 4 years’ experience.
2. Proven experience in market research, data analysis, and report writing.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present research findings in a clear and concise manner.
6. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
9. Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
10. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
