About Us:
ChipChip.Social is a dynamic startup operating in the e-commerce sector. We specialise in procuring various products directly from farmers and other vendors, including electronics, cosmetics, FMCG , clothing, and more.We are looking for a meticulous Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our quality standards before they are delivered to our customers. This role involves implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections, and collaborating with various departments to maintain product quality.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures for fresh products and all product categories , including electronics, cosmetics, FMCG, clothing, and other products.
  • Conduct regular inspections of incoming products to ensure they meet quality specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform quality checks on product samples to assess their condition, functionality, and overall quality.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to communicate quality requirements to suppliers and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Monitor and analyse customer feedback and product returns to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with warehouse, logistics and sourcing teams to ensure proper handling and storage of products to maintain quality during storage and transportation.
  • Conduct product testing and evaluation to validate product performance and reliability.
  • Document and maintain detailed records of quality assurance activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions taken.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff involved in the procurement, handling, and inspection of products to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to product quality and incorporate them into our quality assurance processes.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience 4 years in quality assurance or quality control roles.
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, processes, and tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to product quality and safety.
  • Experience with quality assurance software and tools is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and priorities’ tasks in a fast-paced startup environment.
