ADDIS ABABA- Amongst the worst of war crimes committed by the Western backed TPLF were gang rape of children in Amhara state of Ethiopia , so disclosed Channel 4 News.
The people said they are experienced months of hell under the occupation of TPLF. The terrorist TPLF forces have been ousted and the government forces and local militias have now patrol of the straight.
But the scares of the conflict remain Channel 4 News said adding after long month of closure the local schools reopened but many will carry the trauma of the conflict back to the class room.
The young girl who was brutally raped victims of TPLF attended school, Channel 4 New ascribed calling her Ehitnesh not her real name. She is 14 years old and she speaks to the media with all her sisters and guardian by her side.
The victims also said: “When I tried to fight them off, that is when they hit my knees and arms with the back of the rifle. My face was covered with wound marks. I was bleeding. Then they threatened me with a knife. You can see the scars on my back where they cut me. They said I had no choice but to lay down or die.”
They hit badly after raping me the victim said adding “I was screaming everyone could hear and I want to get out but I couldn’t. Then he came back and raped me again. Then he fell asleep and that is when I escaped,” the victim featured.
She spent the whole night in the forest Channel 4 News revealed adding that the for many of the victims despite the evidence of war crimes under Geneva Convention seeking justice, and accountability is almost impossible.
The news outlet also stated that Ehitnesh is on a long road to recovery and a collective of charities that help rape victims have brought her to capital Addis Ababa for treatment and support besides the victim underlined it is a new beginning on a chance to move away from horrors that unfolded in our home town Woldiya.
